Proposed Web and Print Infographic

REI

Quite possibly my favorite project from my time in design school, I absolutely loved challenging myself to work within REI’s brand to create a series of graphics that break down the barriers of entry to backpacking and encourage viewers to get outside, no matter their experience level.

I began this project with the intention to only design a web infographic but soon realized the information could be translated into multiple formats. I therefore created an additional interactive web graphic in order to make the information even more tangible and engaging. The final piece of material, the in-store booklet, was designed for people who might not go searching for instruction online but who are still looking for guidance. When combined, the suite of graphics becomes a way to make sure no one misses out on instruction, preparation, and ultimately, fun in the outdoors.
